A registered nurse with 27 years clinical experience in emergency services and critical care, Patricia Banta has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, strategic planning, program design and evaluation, risk and quality management, and continuous quality improvement. Pat has served as a member of the faculty of Sarah Lawrence College in the Department of Health Advocacy and as a fellow to the Chairman of the Health Committee in the New York State Assembly. After her graduate studies, Pat was inducted into Federal Executive Service with the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General, where she conducted national program evaluations and inspection, which garnered several awards, including the prestigious Secretary of Health and Human Services Distinguished Service Award. Pat also served as Associate Director of Grants Development at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, the nation's largest provider of home care services. |
